Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing Outdoor Surplus USA for your furniture or greenhouse needs. We understand the importance of a reliable and efficient shipping process when it comes to delivering your order. This shipping policy will provide you with all the necessary information regarding our shipping procedures and guidelines.

Order Confirmation: Once you have placed your order with us, you will receive a notification and confirmation email containing all the details of your purchase. This confirmation email serves as proof that your order has been successfully processed, and your credit card has been pre-authorized. We will then proceed to submit your order to our transit team, who will contact our supplier and/or warehouse manager to ensure that your item is in stock and ready for packaging and shipping.

If, for any reason, your item is out of stock or on backorder, we will cancel the pre-authorization and notify you via email. In the event that the item(s) become available for shipping within 9 days, we will process the charges and proceed with shipping your order.

Freight Receiving Procedure & Freight Damage Policy and Reporting Procedure:

Your signature on the delivering carrier's freight receipt indicates that you have accepted the merchandise in good order. It is crucial that you inspect the delivery before signing, as this action waives Outdoor Surplus USA's right to collect on a damage claim, even if the damage is concealed.

Here are the steps you need to follow:

  1. Inspect, examine, and inventory your delivery as it is unloaded.
  2. Note any shortages or damages on the Bill of Lading or Freight Bill. It is essential to document any discrepancies and the condition of the items before signing.
  3. If you discover any visible damage, refuse the delivery and request a Return Authorization number so that the merchandise can be shipped back to its origin at no charge.
  4. In the case of concealed damage, immediately document and photograph the packaging and the damage, if possible. Do not remove the item from the packaging. Contact us at (307) 302-9034 or email contact@outdoorsurplususa.com to report the damage.
  5. We will initiate a concealed damage claim and request an inspection to determine if the damage was caused by the carrier. It is crucial to report concealed damage as soon as possible, as a report must be filed with the carrier within 15 days after delivery.

Additional measures that can assist in the claim process include:

  1. Taking digital photos of the damage, preferably before the driver leaves the site.
  2. Contacting us at 661-607-3672 to report the damage and request a claim.
  3. Sending pictures of the damages to our email contact@outdoorsurplususa.com.
  4. Keeping a copy of the Bill of Lading or Freight Bill, noting the damage and the driver's signature.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur during the shipping process. By following these procedures and promptly reporting any damages, we can work together to resolve any issues and ensure your satisfaction.
